Dr. David Weinstock is a licensed psychologist in Arizona with over two decades of experience in family law evaluations, individual and family counseling, and adolescent treatment, including work with gifted populations. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Arizona and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. He is also a licensed and retired attorney in New York and Massachusetts.
Dr. Weinstock has conducted family law evaluations both privately and through the Pima County Conciliation Court. His extensive forensic experience includes work within the criminal justice system, such as conducting competency evaluations, risk assessments, and providing treatment for sexual offenders and individuals with sex addiction. He also trained at the Arizona State Hospital.
Beyond clinical work, Dr. Weinstock is actively involved in professional education and advocacy. He is a part-time faculty member at Northern Arizona University, a board member of Arizona’s Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and a board member of the Arizona Psychological Foundation (APF). He also serves on the advisory board for Child Health & Resiliency Mastery (CHARM) and is a former member of Arizona’s Domestic Relations Committee and a former co-chair of the Arizona Psychological Association’s forensic committee.
Dr. Vickie Spitzer is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 26 years of experience in the mental
health field. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The American School
of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2009 and has been a licensed psychologist
since 2016.
Throughout her career, Dr. Spitzer has demonstrated a deep commitment to helping individuals
and families navigate complex psychological challenges. She has received extensive training in
trauma-focused therapies and works with clients across the age span, addressing a wide range of
emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns.
Dr. Spitzer specializes in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for diagnostic
clarification, developmental disorders, and treatment planning. She also has substantial
experience conducting disability examinations for Veterans, contributing to accurate diagnoses
and appropriate support recommendations.
Her clinical work includes treating individuals and families impacted by serious mental illness,
posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sexual addiction, substance use disorders, and the
challenges of foster care placement. Dr. Spitzer’s compassionate and informed approach to care
continues to support healing, growth, and resilience in the clients she serves.
